Welcome to our Summer holiday explorer sessions at Ickwell! This is a wonderful fun outdoor session where children will get the opportunity to use swings, hammocks, slack lines, ropes and tools as well as learning to light fires, play games, make craft and lots more! Children will need to have a snack and lots to drink. It is a very active day so refuelling and staying hydrated is essential! A hot lunch option is available, however children can bring their own lunch if they would prefer. Please wear/provide layers of clothing, with trousers rather than shorts to protect from scratches, stings and insect bites. Layers can be put on or taken off according to the weather and how the child may be feeling. Please apply sun-cream and bug repellent and provide extra for top up during the day for. A hat is also advisable as we are outside for the whole session. Please ensure you are familiar with our terms and conditions including our cancellation policy prior to booking. All of our sessions follow the forest school principles and are unstructured and child led.
